Refurbished Hearing Aid Program
The Care Clinic Refurbished Hearing Aid Program is a community engagement initiative that promotes better health, enhanced communication, and improved quality of life for Seniors and Veterans who have financial barriers to accessing hearing aids. The program accepts gently used hearing aids (less than five years old), assesses and reconditions them, and provides them as permanent loans to older adults who might otherwise go without this essential support.
The Care Clinic Refurbished Hearing Aid Program is intended for:
- Individuals who do not have the financial means to purchase a new hearing device and who are not eligible for other sources of funding.
- Individuals with at least a moderate degree of hearing loss in both ears. A hearing assessment completed within the last 6 months is needed to apply.
