Julie Rodrigue
Julie completed her undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science at Carleton University and her master's degree in speech-language pathology at the University of Ottawa. She is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and holds a “Professional Interest in Fluency” certification from Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
Julie has worked nearly exclusively in the field of fluency (stuttering and cluttering) since 2022. Her personal experience as a person who clutters has provided her firsthand insight into navigating the world with dysfluency. She has experience working with clients of all ages in English and French. Julie's certifications include the Lidcombe Program and the Zones of Regulation. She also has experience treating motor speech disorders (ex: Childhood Apraxia of Speech) and articulation difficulties.
Julie is passionate about increasing awareness for both stuttering and cluttering, offering frequent trainings for fellow clinicians and speech therapy students. She is also very active in the field of disability advocacy, both in her personal and professional life. Her approach prioritizes building trusting relationships with her clients and their family, with the goal of providing them with personalized help and support.
